Malaita Province is one of the nine provinces of the Solomon Islands. Known for its rich culture, beautiful landscapes, and strong community spirit, Malaita has been a cornerstone of our nation's history. It became a province during the Solomon Islands' reorganization after independence in 1978. The 2nd Appointed Day celebrates Malaita’s unity, heritage, and progress.
